My Baby is Amazing!

All my babies are amazing, but I'm talking about my first baby. We've called each other "baby" for a long time and I thought I'd just stop calling him baby when we had kids, but five babies later and he's still my baby. He's so darn cute and soooo good to me. He loves us so much and he's become an amazing spiritual leader for our family.
Lately we've been able to celebrate our life, love, and different holidays in fun and special ways - like D.C and the sheep farm, and he surprised me with an iPad for no reason, so when our 11th anniversary came around on May 13th we decided it had already been celebrated. Or so I thought. I had been covetous of those "nice" cameras out there and made the mistake of telling my baby. I had a totally fine Cannon Power Shot, a cute little guy that fit in my (ok - his) pocket. But I sin. I want. Not too much, just every time I took a picture.
My sweet hubby surprised me with a scavenger hunt on the morning of our anniversary. I love scavenger hunts. But as the years go by, either I'm getting dumber, or he's getting more crafty.
It took me a while to find all the clues. There were more than this, but at the end was a new camera!! A Cannon Rebel, and I love it. Thank you, my Sweet Baby! I love you.

I promptly took my new toy to the Tacoma Art Museum, which is where we went that day, and took pics of the kids and this one of our family through a mirror. There's my camera, I'm taking the picture.

The museum provided the kids with sketch pads, which was a brilliant idea. They drew things they saw all throughout the museum which mainly consisted of Chihuly glass and Norman Rockwell paintings.

Opie took her sketching very seriously. The museum took my taking a picture in the Rockwell exhibit very seriously. I sin again.

I love you Babe. Thank you for being my Baby. You are so amazing.
