December 24 - New Christmas Eve plan - the Jingle Bell 5K Run at Wright Park with the Nobles and Norquists

Home for Advent - one advent for each kid: lighting the advent candle, the calendar, the love jar, lighting the tree, special drink, reading the scripture, peppermint wreath, candy box, and pick a stocking.

then we open our Christmas jammies and watch a Christmas movie while Dada works on smoking his brisket (which ended up taking all night - he didn't sleep!)

December 25 - Christmas Day!! We sing, "Happy Birthday" to Jesus and blow out the candles on his cinnamon roll birthday cake, read Luke 2, open stockings, have breakfast and open presents while Mimi, Grandma and Grandpa, and Anny are there, then the rest of the mama family comes over and we do our scavenger hunt (a ski vacation!), play games, open more presents, play with toys and feast.

December 27-28 - At Whidbey Island with Dada's family we go on walks, have puzzle competitions, play games, watch TV and Miss Toni and Paul come to give them their massage presents.

December 30 - Rhein Haus with the Adams

December 31 - New Year's Eve Polar Bear Party

Dec. 1 - Decorating the Christmas tree, Opal's turn to put the star on top. Swiggy helping with dishes, brother love, and Kivi and Grace host a table for the Women's Christmas Tea.

Dec. 2 - Operation Good Neighbor - Delivering cookies to our LC3 neighbors and decorating gingerbread.

Dec. 3 - The finished Gingerbread Bethlehem and brothers in a guitar case.

Dec. 7 - 2nd time winning the Dundy Office Trivia Night at Kookie and Buggy's

Dec. 24 - Early morning to see the Grinch themed gingerbread houses in Seattle. Two hours too early, so donuts and crumpets in Pike Place first.

Our last day of Advents - Pella - light candle and read devotions, Eben and Berg - hot drink, Tuff - open stocking, Coal - Nativity advent calendar, Kivi - turn on tree lights, Opal - open Christmas present, Jasper - kindness jar. Mama made a brioche star for Christmas morning.

Dec. 26 - Cleaning up the tree and Christmas decorations, light the Swiggy, eat the gingerbread and make a meringue cake with the Schocks.

Dec. 27-28 - Whidbey Island with the Johnsons, mussels - a must date.

Dec. 29 - Attended the Evarts Wedding

Dec. 30 Drove to Montana

Dec. 31 - Play at the Montana house and at the beach in the backyard.
